More iPhones Are Browsing The Web Then Windows Mobile Devices
January 15, 2008
We knew that the iPhone was doing well, but not this well. According to Market Share [PC Link], it took the iPhone 5 short months to eclipse years of sales of Windows Mobile devices in total web browsing (for those keeping count or on mobile phones the score is iPhone - 0.09%, Windows Mobile Devices - 0.06%). Fashion Icon Ralph Lauren & His Not-So-Iconic Mobile Offering
January 15, 2008
Being a long-term fan of the Polo brand by designer Ralph Lauren, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had a mobile site. Admittedly, my own lack of fashion sense has often been supplemented by taking a quick glance at their full blown website and perusing current trends and can’t-go-wrong classic looks. Read more

Can Your Phone Save You Money? mShopper Thinks So.
December 15, 2007
One of the primary reasons that I bought my first smartphone was to be able to check and see if I was actually getting a good deal on something when I was out and about and away from my computer. I hate buying something only to find out that I paid more than I should have. Then you have to fight the return lines, find the receipt, and deal with the “I can’t believe I only get paid $6 an hour” employee behind the counter. Lovely. Read more

MobilePlay.com Offers Fun For Phones, Personalized Mobile Site
December 3, 2007

Here is another example of a social networking site that is created for mobile phone users. We’re not a huge fan of most of these types of sites because of the sheer amount of useless content, but MobilePlay has a redeeming quality in their robust portal. You will still find plenty of semi-nude photos of people who couldn’t get their camera phone up and running fast enough, however, MobilePlay.com gives the user the ability to create a somewhat customized home page that is more useful than most (though Plusmo is still reigning champion in our book.)
